Stuart & Lake Worth

Date

Jupiter LighthouseThe trip down to Stuart was really slow going, 5 knot north wind. It was nice though, we were able to relax and work on projects that needed attending. I planted the garden, worked on the outboard, fixed the head (toilet) and reinstalled the cockpit light. We spent two nights inĀ  Stuart, one just staying on the boat cooking chili mac and the second hanging out with our friends John and Sarah. We all had a fun time playing music and eating pizza. Laurel and I also discovered the best climbing tree ever, like ever ever. The next morning Laurel and I continued our trip down to Lake Worth. The ICW was absolutely, absurdly, ridiculously busy with boaters. Since the wind was south east we motored the entire day, passingĀ  Jupiter Lighthouse, Peanut Island and the crap show of Best...climbing...tree...ever!West Palm. Drawbridge after drawbridge went by until we finally made it to Lake Worth. Lake Worth is “Where The Tropics Begin”. Finally we are here!!!!

And I guess you can assume from reading this post that I fixed my computer, again. This is a lesson learned to never work on logos, record photo booth alien eyes and chipmunk videos and update this blog simultaneously. Now we are at Matt and Brianna Guthrie’s house about to eat shrimp tacos and ribs. Tonight we will stay in Lake Worth again and tomorrow, depending on the wind, we may head down to Miami to visit Sailorman and our friend Keith.
