The Adventures of Griffin & Laurel Unplugged…

Date

Back in our old stomping groundsWe left the dock yesterday morning with a south wind. The forecast called for south wind for most of the day and switch to north in the evening. We made it to Harbor Branch when the wind switched early so we turned on the engine and motored the entire way directly into the wind to Sebastian. By 3:00 pm we made it to Sebastian to our old anchorage. We set both our anchors out and then made a late lunch. I checked our batteries to see how much the fridge consumes, our batteries were fully charged and the fridge was at 0 degrees. That’s great news! Not so great news, the wind had switched again to hard west which is the worst wind for our anchorage. The waves were a solid knee high and it made the row in very bumpy and wet. Oh well, it’s all part of the adventure. The plan now is to hang out with our friends and family, go to Amy’s wedding, then head due south next week, unplugged.
